Calc – Calculator
Cmd – Opens a new Command Window (cmd.exe)

Charmap – Character Map

Chkdisk – use to verifying:-

  1. files
  2. indexes
  3. bad sectors
  4. security descriptors
  5. error in volume bitmap


Cleanmgr – Cleans up hard drives (disk cleanup)
Clipbrd – Windows Clipboard viewer
Control – open Control Panel
Dcomcnfg – component services
Debug – Assembly language programming tool
Defrag – Defragmentation tool (*)
Drwatson – Records programs crash & snapshots
Dxdiag – DirectX Diagnostic Utility
Explorer – My document
Ftp – ftp.exe program
Hostname – Returns Computer’s name (*)
Ipconfig – Displays windows IP configuration for all network adapters
MMC – Microsoft Management Console
Msconfig – system configuration utility (use to edit startup files )
Msinfo32 – Microsoft System Information Utility

Mspaint-Opens’s Microsoft Paint
Nbtstat – Displays protocol stats. and current connections using NetBios over TCP/IP (*)
Netstat – Displays all active network connections (*)
Nslookup- Returns your local DNS server (*)
Ping – Sends data to a specified host/IP
