This is the time for some unexpected change in laptops.Now we are going to get rid of old Led Screens.The companies will launch new laptops with Transparent screen.It is called OLED screen.There are some manufacturers listed below-

  1. Samsung-In April 2009, Samsung released its first phone using the AMOLED display in the United States
  2. Sony-WALKMAN X series with 3” OLED touchscreen
  3. Dupont-stated in a press release that they can produce a 50-inch OLED TV in 2 minutes with a new printing technology

News About OLED Lauch-

Samsung has recently been showing off a laptop with a 14″ semi-transparent screen.  Yes, that is a laptop screen that you can basically see through.This transparent OLED prototype from Samsung is simply cool.it is the world’s first and largest transparent OLED prototype.When the device is turned off, the screen is transparent, allowing about 40 percent of the light from behind it to get through. When it’s turned on you can see icons and applications on the screen, as well as anything in the background.

Sony is also in queue for launching these type of laptop screens.Sony will lauch Vaio Laptops which have a transparent screen.pics of these laptops are below.it may be like this.

  5. here It goes:
    OLED is a LED dat emits light wen an electric current passes through it.
    OLED: convert electricity into light
    LED: reflect electricity into light.
    its made up of organic layer in btwn 2 elctrode (atleast 1 electrode is transparent) n dey r used in mobile phones , computer screens, Tv..etc

    pros: OLED’s viewing angle is good as compare to LED as OLED pixel directly emit light. Good response rate and higher frame rate.
    cons: limited lifetime( of oranic material) , more power consumtion, water can danage organic material.
