Sony launched world’s first interchangeable lens HD camcorder.

Sony has unleashed NEX-VG10 which is the first consumer camcorder to support interchangeable lenses – and it works with E mount and A mount lenses.
The NEX-VG10 can capture full 1920×1080 High definition video at up to 24Mbps, and it ships with an E-mount 18-200mm lens that offers an 11x zoom in addition to a silent auto-focus system and Optical Steadyshot image stabilization.
Manual controls are found on the camera which include control for the shutter, iris, white balance and gain. Still images can also be captured manually if required. This is definitely a higher-end unit, which explains the $2000 price tag. It will ship in September, but pre-sales are starting today at SonyStyle.com.
