How to Make Your Own Network Cables (Straight-through cables and Crossover cables)

In Network field, the common hardware we all came across is a patch cord. Here, I have tried to show you a pictorial method for crimping the RJ45 connector with CAT5 cable. UTP Cat 5 cable is used for making connection upto 100m (maximum certifiable length) and giving a throughput ranging from 10Mbps to 1000Mbps. There are two types of UTP Ethernet cables connections made through using pattern – Straight-through and Crossover.

Blocking view on specific drive

1. Click Start → Run and type regedit.
2. Scroll Down to following registry keys-
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
If the particular link or path is missing you can create the key for the same name for example if Explorer doesn’t exists in Policies, so you should create a new key (right click on blank space in Policies and type Explorer to create a new key as shown below). Read more…
